Guidelines for Assistance Requests:

  1. Eligibility

    • Assistance is available to pet owners in Middle Tennessee facing financial hardship. Requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

  2. Complete and Accurate Information

    • Please fill out the form completely and accurately to help us process your request as quickly as possible. Ensure that your contact information and delivery address are correct.

  3. Food Preferences

    • We will do our best to match your pet’s current food brand and flavor, but preferences are not guaranteed. Our supplies are based on availability. Please be aware that sudden changes in your pet’s food can lead to stomach upset, and by accepting assistance, you acknowledge this risk.

  4. Delivery Area

    • The Pet Pantry is a mobile pantry. We can only provide assistance within Middle Tennessee, and a valid address is required for delivery.

  5. Response Time

    • As a one-person operation, response times may vary. We appreciate your patience, and you will receive confirmation via text or email once your delivery has been completed.

  6. Special Requests

    • We may be able to assist with items like pet bedding, litter, or toys, depending on availability. Please specify any additional needs in the comments section.

  7. Urgent Needs

    • If you have an urgent situation or immediate needs, please complete the form, then contact us directly at info@thepetpantry.org. We will do our best to accommodate urgent requests as quickly as possible.

  8. Confidentiality

    • Your information will be kept confidential and used only for the purpose of assisting you with pet food and supply delivery.

  9. One Request Per Household

    • Each household is eligible for one request at a time. If you require assistance on an ongoing basis, please feel free to reapply.

  10. New Requests

    • New requests must be submitted each time help is needed. We are unable to automatically repeat deliveries or requests.

  11. Not a Primary Source of Pet Food

    • The Pet Pantry is here to help in times of emergency or financial hardship but should not be relied upon as a primary source of pet food or supplies. We encourage pet owners to explore other resources for long-term assistance.

  12. Behavior Expectations

    • We reserve the right to deny assistance to anyone who exhibits aggressive or disrespectful behavior. We ask all recipients to be kind and understanding as we are here to help with compassion.
